Yesterday was my cousin’s 20th birthday! Katie is one of the coolest girls you’ll ever meet. I wish she lived in Orlando. I want to wish her “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” again!!!!
As you might know, my uncle is in the army. 82nd Airborne Ranger baby! Be impressed if you don’t know what that is. 😉
He posted a status that made me so proud of him, but sad. He’s spent his life with other brave soldiers protecting you and me. He mentioned that he’s missed about half of Katie’s birthday and has been away from his wife for about 8 years in his life as a soldier. He’s honestly one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I have never seen him get angry or be anything but amazing. But sacrifices can get to even the most amazing people.
Please pray for encouragement and safety for our soldiers. Prayer is such a powerful thing.
