Booking For July and August…and Mini Sessions?

This year has been great. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph some AMAZING people! I love my clients. They appreciate custom photography and are such sweet people. I am so incredibly blessed. I want to work with people who want to work with me as much as I want to work with them. I’m not just anyone with a camera and they are not just any client. So to everyone who has booked me….THANK YOU!:)

I wanted to let everyone know that I have a few sessions left in July and am also booking for August. Since I photograph as a boutique studio, I only accept a limited amount of sessions a month.

Also, if there is enough interest, I am thinking of hosting mini sessions. Mini sessions are short photo sessions with just a few images and a special price. If you (or a friend) are interested, please contact me as soon as possible so that I can decide if I’ll have mini sessions this Summer.:)They were super fun last Fall.

Thanks everyone! Have an amazing day!

Orlando Photographer – Sofia and Friends

Sofia, Lauren, and Rebecca were so fun to photograph! I actually met Sofia months ago when I had the privilege of judging the Miss Teen Orlando competition. I was able to meet some incredibly sweet, intelligent, beautiful young ladies. Sofia is one of these ladies. She also happens to be the winner in her age division and will go on to state!

I had so much fun with these ladies! Sofia’s mom and sister were also there. Such a sweet group! I don’t know how many times I was offered dinner or a cold drink. I would have gone, too, if I had not already had plans. Haha.

Thank you all so much for a great photo session!!!

They had me laughing! This was such a fun photo session.

Gorgeous Sofia!

Cute!

Yesterday was the first day that I did not blog for my month of (weekday) blogging challenge. I actually didn’t forget, but I decided to stop this 3:00 a.m. going to bed thing.:)So I’m blogging twice today.

I found this image at uberchicforcheap and thought that the outfits were so cute. Some I like better than others, but the entire set makes me want to visit J. Crew at the mall right now. I know that traditionally, you should avoid certain patterns and colors for photoshoots……and that is valid advice. But on the other hand, don’t be afraid of colors and patterns for a photoshoot. Super cute!

I Could Not Do Life Without….

Sometimes life can be stressful. I really believe that to live a life of peace and joy, you really have to work at it. While we need to be real and face what comes our way, we don’t need to keep our minds on anything and everything. If we dwell on negative things and the hopelessness of a situation, how can we expect to be happy? I’m really thankful for my life. I really am a happy person. My attitude is the second reason I can have a great life.

What is the first reason for my happiness? Time and time again, I am reminded of how I can stay at peace and have joy. I could not not do life without God. For me, it’s not just about knowing that there’s something bigger and greater out there….it’s a persona relationship with God.

Great relationships with my family and friends are also what I am so thankful for. They keep me strong even in the toughest of times. I can’t imagine my life without certain people in it.

One of the things that I feel a need to do is to list what I’m thankful for on a daily basis. It can be big things or it can be small things. I think that this website is so cute. http://justlittlethings.net/ The thoughts can be so random, but they really make me appreciate the little things in life. Here are a few images taken from that site. I hope you can think of several more.:)

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

It’s funny that I will work on other’s photography and design projects, but I neglect my own. What’s that saying about the cobbler’s children having no shoes? LOL. If you have visited my blog recently, you may have noticed a few design changes. If you visit my website often, you may also have notice that I’ve added quite a few new ways to interact here.

If you like a post, you can share it on Facebook, Twitter, or by e-mail. Just click on the option you would like at the bottom of each post. If you at a fellow Pinterest lover, you can pin from my blog my clicking on the “Pin” button at the bottom of each post. Yes, I sound nerdy, but I am loving these changes.:)

I love using my web design degree. While I’m currently editing a few sessions (can’t wait to show them off here!), it’s been great to get some updates on my own blog.:)It’s been a few SUPER late nights, but I think it’s worth it. I can’t wait to show you new images….and maybe a few design projects in the near future.:)
