Merry Christmas Eve! I hope that everyone gets to spend tonight and tomorrow with friends and family. The last few weeks have had many moments of deep thought into what I want in 2013. Something I have been thinking about is how important it is to enjoy the everyday and extra special moments with friends and family.
Being a photographer might sound like it’s all fun and games, but it’s actually a lot of work. There are many business related things that need to be taken care of that are not fun at all. I have found myself sitting in front of the computer way too much and missing out on life. Something clicked recently and I knew that I NEEDED to live my life and not miss out on creating some amazing memories. Although it was much later than I had hoped, I was finally able to take photos of MY family! My sister, her amazing husband, and the best niece and nephew I could ask for got in front of my camera.
The funny thing about this shoot is that we had planned quite a few things. I sister and I both had spent hours planning for this session. In the end, I think we just let go and kept it simple. And you know what? I love the images. I hope you do, too.

Denisse -LOVE this session! I’m kind of glad everything “fell apart” on my end and we had to keep it simple. It turned out so beautifully, that I’m not at all disappointed that we didn’t get to do the other shoot! Although, I still think it would be fun to try later. Thank you so much!
I met Mario and Heather this year. What a sweet, beautiful family they are. I was so excited to photograph their wedding … a vow renewal. I wish I could photograph this wedding again and again.Mario and Heather’s vow renewal was extra beautiful because their love for God, each other, their family, and friends is so apparent. I hope you all enjoy the images.
Mario seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle.
I love her expression. She is such a beautiful bride.
They wrote and said their own vows.
The kiss!
We had a quick time of wedding portraits.
I love the sunflare.
What a sweet family photo.
Although Baby Mario is no longer with us here on earth, it was beautiful to include him in his family’s photo. If you would like more information on The Little Warrior Foundation for Baby Mario, please visit the website here.
Mario took a moment to share what was in his heart for the foundation.
What a super cute couple.
The wedding cake was delicious. Amazing!
I loved the candid photos of friends.
Baby L sure loves his grandfather.
Love the bond between friends. There for sure was a lot of laughter at this event.
As the sun was coming down, we took some fun and silly photos. Here’s a cute one.
What a beautiful view at this wedding. Great way to end the night.
