The past several days were filled with visits to the hospital and funeral preparations. We said good bye to my uncle. I only have good memories of him. While there is sadness, there’s also peace and happiness for him. If I didn’t believe in heaven and God, I would be a mess right now. But I am grateful that he is in heaven with no pain and suffering.
We celebrated his life with services on Monday and Tuesday. I put together a video for the services. It’s awesome to remember how kind and fun he was. I often told him that he sounded like a Hallmark card with his beautiful words. What an encourager my uncle was. He lived life to the fullest.
