I am loving the questions you all are sending. If you have a question, you can go to http://www.formspring.me/michelleiguzman or even leave a blog comment here. I’m going to share a few questions and answers here.
Q. Your photos are incredibly vibrant in color, is this an effect you create with your camera and lenses, or using computerized enhancements?
A. Good questions. It’s both. You can capture more colors depending on how you shoot. When I take the images into post processing, I do bump colors up some, but the vibrant color base is already there for the most part.
There are many times that I do NOT bump up colors because it’s already really vibrant straight from the camera.
Q. Did you go to school for photography?
A. My first “class” in photography was from my dad. I remember being about 4 years old and being fascinated with taking photos.
I took one college class years ago, but I am mostly self taught.
Q. if you could only shoot one subject genre from now on, what would you choose?
A. I love photographing people over any other subject. If I had to be more specific….. ahhh…. Oh my goodness. I’m not sure I could choose. I LOVE photographing couples, H.S. seniors, and children the best for now. Is that specific enough? LOL!
Q. Why photography?
A. I have so many interests. I still want to pursue many of them. I’ve always loved looking at photos and taking pictures. For me, it’s such a fun way to be creative. I HAVE to be continually creating something.
