Rock the Marrow is near and dear to me. My friend, Jamie, was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. She was told that she needed a bone marrow transplant to survive. It could take weeks, months, years, or she might never find a perfect match. It was like playing the lottery except this was life and death. She has stayed super positive because….well….Jamie is pretty much one of the most amazing people you could ever know.

God is amazing and Jamie found not one, but TWO perfect matches. TWO!!!! What!? That is a major miracle. Thank you Jesus!

Jamie and many of her friends are helping to put together Rock the Marrow 2010 to raise awareness for Leukemia through blood and bone marrow donors. We’ll have fun activities, food, and concerts starting at 10:00 am. We’ll also have a big indoor concert that afternoon which is free for anyone under 18 and free to anyone that donates blood and or gets swabbed to be a bone marrow donor. Or you can get tickets at the door for $5. If you would, could you please go to the Rock the Marrow website and make an appointment to be a donor?

Please come out and support this awesome cause!  🙂 Come out and say “hi” to me as well. I might just have some free photo gift certificates if you come out and have donated. 🙂
