The Workshop!

The first workshop closed in just a few days! If you would like to sign up, check back as soon as the workshop registration is announced. 🙂

Do you have a digital camera, but have no idea how to use it?  I always get asked photography questions and am so excited to finally be announcing these workshops. Get ready for some fun!

I’ve taught photography at a private school for highschool and middle school students as well as informal, free classes for years. This will be my first formal workshop.

Please carefully read what the workshop will be about before you sign up. If you are excited to learn about the topics we will be discussing, I would love for you to be a part of this.

What You’ll Learn:
In this basic photography class, you’ll learn about photography basics. Class is just under 1 hour. We’ll cover basic lighting, composition, taking care of your camera equipment, how to get natural expressions from the people you photograph, and more. This class is more about photography and less about the technical aspects of your camera.

Feel free to ask questions during the class.

Who Is This Class For:
This class is for students 18 and older. This will be a small class, so space is limited.

What To Bring:
While you don’t need a camera to attend, you may find it helpful to bring the best camera you own.

When/Where:
The next workshop will be held in February 2013 in Winter Garden. We’ll have our own meeting space.

Price:
This class is $55. If you are signed up for the free updates, you’ll receive a special discount to this class via your e-mail when it comes out.

What You’ll Learn:
Ever wonder what all the icons on your camera are? We’ll go over camera basics such as Auto, Program, Aperture Priority, and more. Immediately following the Basic Class I, you can choose to stay for part II. This class will NOT be about shooting in manual mode. We will also have a mini photo session so you can learn hands on!

Who Is This Class For:
This class is for students that have taken my Basic Class I and would like to stay for this second part. This will be a small class, so space is limited.

What To Bring:
While you don’t need a camera to attend, you will find it helpful to bring the best camera you own. A DSLR is recommended, but not required. If you have a camera, please bring your camera manual, charged camera battery, lens, and a memory card.

Price:
This class is only $35. If you have signed up for the free updates, you’ll see how to win a free seat to this class!
