On Wednesday, my cousin, Noelia, and I went to photograph Jamie and her sweet family and friends. I normally take a while editing images, but this time, I was being really ambitious. ๐Ÿ™‚ We lugged around 2 bags of camera equipment, a laptop, and our personal bags. The scenery was not the typical place I would normally shoot at. I normally would not use a flash as much as I did. And between Noelia and I, we edited 436 images AND ate lunch in about 1 hour and 45 minutes…..on a laptop. This is totally not normal for me. Haha. I could not have done this without Noelia.

While I may see every technical flaw, I was reminded that technical perfection is NOT what makes an image special. The people in the images are what makes the photo special. The gorgeous smiles, eyes dancing as you look at a loved one, laughter as you strike a goofy pose…….it’s the people and the memories that make an image outstanding.

Also, remember what really counts in life. We often get so caught up in things that really don’t matter much. Take time to make special memories with your friends and family. This is what really counts.

Here’s to imperfect PERFECT photos. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Keep praying for that miracle!!!! Our God can do ANYTHING! I’m still believing! Thank you Jesus!
